Okay, I give up!
I am sure this has been answered already, but darned if I'm smart enough to find it! So, could someone out there PLEASE point me to the thread that will explain how I can go about re-coloring the objects in Sims 2? (I now know how to "do" clothes, but want to know how to "do" objects! Yes, I have SimPE already if that's what I need... ) Thankyou! -ZW |

You'll need the Nvidea utilities too. Could someone (like Sita) please tell us how you put your name and/or site information into the name of the resource that you're recoloring? |

I have no clue how to recolour anything!I only installed SimPE yesterday so I'm still messing around with family ties and stuff!

Me? I have no idea! I didn't think I did that!
This is ME Rose, the one that can't even open SimPE without messing it up, at the moment anyway. I suppose if I reinstall it it might just reset itself to the original configuration. |

Did you say configure it?? I can barley open it! (Have only done so once, to tweak the random multiple birth odds in the Trip/Quad hack. ) Is it too late to try & configure it now?? -ZW |

I've been trying to figure out how to do that same thing. I can use the Wizards of SimPE but this is the first time I've seen that tutorial about Object Workshop.

Let me tamper with it a bit. Since I know it's something simple, maybe I can get it to work.
I've used it a lot, so if I can change the configuration, I'm sure you can too! |

I know I did a post here about how to use Object Workshop, but I simply can't find it... it was in response to your question about how to use Object Workshop, within the last month. BTW, that's the link someone gave me when I asked where to start with recoloring... I'm busy making coffins... and no, I haven't figured out how to get my name/site to come up in the texture info! |

Well, I'm reimporting my coffins... some kind person told me how to get my name in the internal filenames!
You just go to the SimPE site and register, then go to the last page of the SimPE preferences and put in your username and password (password is mailed to you). After that, when you make a new recolor, there's your name! |
