Oh well! I can totally see Circe Beaker in one of those. Anyway, Sims political thought does not have to be the same of their owners.

I hope not! Most people seem to end up with Mort Goth as Mayor. <shudder>

Actually I said it because of her Bio:
"Circe knows 238 different ways to make someone scream, and none of them are nice. She enjoys taxidermy and collecting coat hangers."
That's one badass scientist.

On a different line, how can Mortimer become mayor? He's an elder and there's a limit for their career path.

Hmm... that would imply that Circe Beaker is sadistic. The connection between that and advocating a strong military eludes me.

I'm guessing that Rose was thinking of The Sims 1 with regard to Mortimer Goth, though it's also possible to install J. M. Pescado's "no age discrimination" hack that lets elders pursue real career paths. (I've often wondered what people at Maxis were thinking when they limited elders to minimum-wage jobs.)

They were thinking "lock the elders in the basement" that's certainly the impression I get when I look at the clothes they designed for them. Thank goodness for downloads.

Then why do people download my ugly plaid clothes for elders? Or do they just want more ugly variety for their basement-trapped elders?

Yup, elders got short-changed everywhere. Maybe they need this T-shirt. Or maybe one that shows a picture of an AR-15 carbine with the slogan "Don't even think about age discrimination!"

B'b'but, I think David was referring to the appearance the Circe and Loki Beaker. Both of them are strong candidates for a full make-over, including their personalities. The first time I played Strangetown I just killed them off. By the time I got to play after recovering from The Bomb, I had enough tools at hand to do a complete make-over. (How the heck did one of the Curious brothers (Vidcund?) ever manage to get a crush on Circe Beaker?)

On the other hand, my impression of the Beakers was that although they're jerks, they're also wimps. Among the Strangetown population I'd expect that General Buzz Grunt and his son Tank Grunt would be most likely to want to wear this shirt.

Erm... that is, they'd want to wear a shirt with the "Peace Through Superior Firepower" slogan. They wouldn't be caught dead in this version of the shirt! lol

----------
Now I'm getting ideas for alternative clothing for General Buzz and the boys.

I just thought of another Strangetown guy who'd probably go for a shirt like this--Lazlo Curious!

He's a fun-loving Knowledge sim, just the sort who'd like to go out into the desert and shoot up cactuses. Erm... cacti. Uh... prickly things.

(I might be influenced by the fact that I know a guy who lives in Las Vegas, looks just like Lazlo, works in a spaceship factory, and does go out into the desert to shoot up things with fully automatic rifles. He's also likely to show up at the lab in the morning driving a 4X4 that's dripping globs of mud from his morning play time.)

Yup! Gotta make a version of this for the boys, too!

Yep, i need that shirt too...

BTW, once you get the shirts set up, you can mass produce your new ideas... Just make a man's shirt and a woman's shirt, and you should be able to paste the art into the elder and teen shirts for the same gender, then paste the man's shirt into the boy's shirts (which can be unisexed with SimPE) and onto the upper half of the girl toddler outfit and recolor the pants to coordinate (which also can be unisexed with SimPE).

With the art for 3 shirts, you get 8 shirts which will fit 10 different sims!

Hmm... SimPE seems to be having difficulty with procedure for getting to the point where you can recategorize things. I'll have puzzle some more on this.

lol! By a great coincidence, Neighborhood One just got its first Mayor (that I can recall):

Dawson Day!
"Maybe now I can afford to finish the garage."

Pretty good for a Pleasure Sim with an illegitimate son and a live-in lover (Lora Mace, former downtownie (and great fan of the fishtank) and not the mother of said son; Lora and Dawson are at least engaged, though, which might make the story a bit less scandalous).

Don't know what his politics are; probably "PJs for everyone!". *8)

Boy, am I behind in posting Neighborhood One saga pictures...

I don't think I do. I was just trying to get it to categorize some YA clothes for Adults and vice versa. When I try to do the part where it filters the downloads, it bombs. I think I might have too many downloads for it.
