OK...So hello to everyone to everyone here. I'm new.
Now then, to my tale of woe:
I had downloaded some movie posters for my sims, and they were Tmogs of that Blind date painting (which is 2-tiled) I decided to try to make some of my own, since there were some movie posters that I wanted, but couldn't find. When I cloned and exported the painting, I opened both tiles in Paint Shop Pro, only to find that one of the object tiles was turned so that I could only see the back...
So. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. If anyone knows how to create artwork for a house or can direct me to a tutorial that tells me how to do it, I would apprecitate it alot.
Thanks!

You should have 4 sprites, front right, front left, back right, back left.
The ones you want are the front ones. They're probably in different folders, grouped front right/back right and front left/back left.

It's best to do it for yourself, it's a load of fun once you have learned it. You sound like me, having to learn everything by banging your head against it!
How far have you got? You made the sprites and want to go back to Transmogrifier? And where is the tutorial you found? Maybe if we read it together we can work out where you are up to. Not that I am any kind of expert, but I have some time today.
I made a couple of very simple tutorials on TMogging here http://www.simechoes.org/downloads/help/tutorial/tutorials.html

I suspect this is where you are:
You need to save the files from your art package as 8 bit or indexed color "bitmap." You might need to change from rgb to indexed before you save, depending on what's available in the Save dialog.
Then you go back to Tmog and Import.
Now you should be back on track with your tutorial.

Thanks!
omg...It STILL won't go! This is depressing me...
I just got done with everything else...I changed the color to 8-bit...and now I need to save. I have been told to save it as a bitmap, but I still can't import. Could this have anything to do with the version of Tmog that I have? (it's 2.0 by the way...)

It shouldn't have anything to do with your version of Tmog. Exactly what error message or result are you getting?

Do you need to flatten or merge layers?
But for us to help you, you need to give us some more information - what gaphics program you are using, what exactly the file is that you need to save.

Ok...I'm using Paint Shop Pro for this. I've already merged and layered everything correctly, and I have Sims Transmogrifier 2.0. I'm trying to use the Blind Date painting to make some movie posters for my Sims, and I'm having trouble saving the sprites.
In other words: How do I save the sprites in Paint Shop Pro so that Sims Transmogrifier will recognize them as XML files?????

Well, you have to save the sprites, back in the folder they were exported to, with their original filenames, as BMPs - it is TMog that will import the XML file.
You shouldn't ever do anything to the XML file itself, as I understand it.
Once they are all saved you have to IMPORT the sprites from TMog by selecting the XML file. TMog scolls through and after that you can select View your object in TMog's main screen.

Yes, over 99% of the time, you don't change the xml file. Just save your bitmaps with the original filenames.
If you've overwritten your xml files, just re-export to a different filename and save your bitmaps there.
