So (I haven't actually tried these yet, but I'm asking anyway) should I expect to find these clothes showing up in both the Adult and Young Adult sections of the store? How did you do that? I don't remember there being a way in Body Shop to do that; is there magic I don't know about? (There was something I wanted to have in both Adult and Young Adult, and I did tedious cutting and pasting in Body Shop to make two different package files; is there a way to avoid that?)

Yep, the program is called DatGen. You go to the plug ins and there's one called Skin Fixer. It will make Adult or YA skins into Adult/YA and vice versa. You can also use it to change the catagories the skins show up in.
Carrot tested a couple and they showed up under YA.

Cool, thanks! I'll have to try out that program (I've been having trouble making clothing-only package files that actually work; probably because I'm just using Body Shop).
Meanwhile, I had no trouble finding your teddies in the adult section (haven't been to a college store since I installed them). Brandi Letourneau looks very fetching in MirosWUBlack01...

All I've got is BodyShop as well! (This video card is never gonna handle the full game...)
I just zip up the file HHHHHHHH_WhateverINamedIt.package that was saved in SavedSims, and Carrot kindly tested my first dozen files to make sure they worked properly!

Ah, maybe that's what I was doing wrong! I tried taking the ProjectName.package file from the Projects\ProjectName directory that Body Shop made. That doesn't seem to be working; I guess I need to put the clothes onto a Sim and export it and then get the package file from SavedSims?

At least that is the way I remember it. Rose and I were poking about with the files trying to figure out "what went where" a week or so ago, and I honestly think I remember this being the case. So . . . no need to actually "build a new sim then export", just import the new clothing item, then check the SavedSims directory, your file should be named like XXXXXXXX_NameYouGaveTheItemInBS.package. =) |
Well, look at that! Never noticed those dot-package files before. I'll try those (or rather, I'll try copying the relevant ones of those from my daughter's SavedSims directory into my Downloads directory, and see if I can finally see those clothes). Tx extremely!

Lol, I tried the \Projects\ProjectName\ProjectName.package ONCE and it didn't work. But like Carrot said, you just get the HHHHHHHH_ProjectName.package file from the SavedSims directory and it will do the trick!

It did; w00t!
Tx so much, Carrot and Rose. Never would have figured that out on my own. :smilehap: Has anyone written up a good tutorial / summary / reference on this stuff? (Maybe we should have a Wiki or something.)

Teddies in Action
Here are Brandi Letourneau and Sally Raptor, looking cute in two of Rose's creations (being a pale redhead, Sally probably shouldn't really wear red, but sometimes she just doesn't listen to me):
Rock on!
Although it looks like Brandi's appreciating Sally's air-guitar playing, they're actually dancing together. Or really that odd half-together thing where one Sims does Dance Solo and another one does Join. Dancing solo together. Or something.
(Note Brandi's attractive navel enhancing, and being enhanced by, the teddy. No other taboo anatomical features are visible for enhancement because I'm still using the game default skins for all my Sims, and doing more risque things like topless undies only via Body Shop clothing hacks. I don't think you can replace the default skins by putting something into the Downloads directory, and so far I'm too chicken to mess with the global game files. Maybe someday...)
Thanks again for the downloads!

Thanks for the picture!
Greg had some alternate nude skins around here somewhere...
