Interesting story about this song. Sting wrote it after reading Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire. It is about Louis. I hadn't read the book, in fact didn't until several years later, but I fell in love with the song the first time I heard it. Smeddum likes it too now. Hmmm

I am surprised nobody knows it yet.

I'm drawing a blank, though I love the Anne Rice Novels..

If you told me it had something to do with the Vampire Lestat or Queen of the Damned, I'd be on it faster than.. I can't think of a good metaphor..

I may have to ask for help from my other gothic/vampy sources and see if they have any clue..

I feel bad for Smeddum Two in a row that nobody could guess. I guess he should find something he likes that is newer.

Funny music taste for a young man, he has... :cyalien:

How about this for lyrics...

Slow down, you move too fast
Gotta make the mornin' last, just
Kickin' down the cobblestones
Lookin' for fun and Feelin Groovy

Can anyone give the actual name for this one. It isn't "Feelin Groovy"

Little known trivia fact, Alice Cooper was in this group before he became Alice!

Yes!!! Horay Nancy! Can you name the group that did the song which included Alice (Steven) Cooper?

Just for curiosity sake, why didn't you come guess the Moon over Burbon Street? That had everyone stumped!

Simon and Garfunkle did it too. The first people to get the song aired was "Harper's Bizzare" Alice Cooper was one of their members along with a host of others who went on to make it elsewhere. Alice was known as Steven, his given name at that time.

Okay, You or Nancy need to come up with some lyrics...

Okay, here's one from one of my all time (long standing) favorites:

Don't hear their cries
Don't eat out of their hands
Ghosts don't die
You see, ghosts don't cry
They see you and me.

I haven't a clue Carrot! Sounds neat though. BTW Love the colors, but your purple text doesn't hardly show up on the blue. Thought you would want to know...

OH! Whoops! I'll have to change that Hon, thanks for the "heads up". =)

Okay, I'll give you a hint on this:

It's a solo male artist.

He was big in the early-mid 80's.

He still has a huge fan base following.

He's seriously cool . . . at least IMO.

He almost died of a motorcycle accident - I believe in the very early 90's.

He's got cool hair!

That's all I'm saying . . . =D hehe

You're Right Rose! =)

I'll just give the title:

The Dead Next Door

Okay, where are the next lyrics coming from? =)
