I love playing the toodler stage, they are so cute and they absolutely drive you insane. That's why I play with the aging off cheat so they could stay toodlers for a long time and I play more than one at a time. lol

I like teen and child because they are more able to take care of themselves. I have a habit of getting more people in the house than i can handle (three is about my limit) and it's nice when the children are a little more self-sufficient.

I have to admit to loving the toddler stage myself, yes . . . I second the vote . . they are very cute! =)

I especially LOVE when and adult is teaching a toddler to talk . . . their little voices and "shying away" from the idea of "words" I think is SO cute.

I don't find them too difficult once I get them potty trained . . . but when they stand in their crib and scream "bloody murder" . . well, let's just say it gives me flashbacks to when mine where that age . . . Maxis sure got that "howl" down pat! LOL

I picked teen. Infant is easy. They cry and turn yellow, you change them and feed them and put them back. Toddler does have a tendency to drive you crazy. Child is great as long as they have one of those little fluorescent stoves and can feed themselves. Teens are completely self~sufficient, though, and I like finding out how much they resemble mom & dad (or in several cases, their grandparents).

I love toddlers!

Teen is second place, since you're working like mad to get them scholarships for college, and that's one of the most challenging things in the game.

Yup, toddlers are my very favorite sims. I think Maxis really missed the boat with children; not enough for them to do and not enough influence on their lives from what they do.

Yeah, childhood is like drudgery... if the child really enjoys stargazing and wants to stay up late, there's no way to recover the energy expended before the bus gets there in the morning. Then when the kid gets home from school, they don't want to do their homework and do want to go to bed. Then I forget to have them do their homework and let them paint or stargaze too late and perpetuate the cycle.

Well, Carrot's not here anymore, but Inge's hack that lets them escape from any crib is a lifesaver!

My toddlers get up and go potty and play with the bunny and have very fulfilling lives while mom and dad are still snoozing.

I do wish the stupid nanny would just leave them alone and let them do what they want. Why can't I get one of the nannies that gets fixated with taking baths or cleaning the fish tank?

Can you use an OFB door to keep the nanny out of the baby's room? Grin

I suspect you could use one of the Simlogical lockable doors to keep the nanny out, but then she wouldn't be able to put them in their cribs for a nap.

I still like toddlers the most. I think it's because you can interact with them and they still want attention from their parents. Besides, they're insufferably cute.
