Here's the Christmas 2006 Treasure Hunt Starting Page!

If you are stuck on a clue in the SimsHost Christmas 2006 Treasure Hunt or want to comment on the event or the downloadable goodies, this is the place to do it! It works best if you look for a topic about the treasure you're stuck on, and if there isn't one, just start a new topic with a title like "Treasure Number XX."

You should be able to download the stuff with a free SimsHost membership (or, of course, an active subscription). All the downloads in the treasure hunt are free.

To create a free SimsHost membership, just go to the SimsHost front page and click on the link to "Join SimsHost." Set up the account, and just stop when you get to the part where you would otherwise put funds in the account. Make sure to use a real, permanent email address because you will have to verify the new account with a link that will arrive in your email.

You might want to get that account set up now, so you'll be ready to download the Treasures as soon as the Hunt opens!

... it means that you have found the web page you're looking for! Just click on the button and you will go to the page where you can download the treasure!

The same pages that have the downloads should also have a clue about the next treasure. There's a chance that the path can get broken, though, so we have provided a list of all the poetical hints on the Christmas 2006 Starting Page!

Don't have a glitch, but do have a suggestion......I went to the Wooden Simolean and really wanted to download the mailbox covers, but when I went to get the mesh at TSR, it required a subscription in order to download it. Since I don't have a subscription to TSR and will not be getting one, this lovely gift, which I really wanted to download, is not available to me. That might be something to think about in the future when creating your gifts.

Grr, that mesh was free the first day of the hunt and is free over half the time, but not this week... guess that's the laws of probability in action!

BTW, make sure you've logged into TSR with your free account (everyone has one of those, right?) before deciding if a particular item is free or subscription at the present time. They all show up as pay if you aren't logged in!
