Hi Guys ... I've been playing the Sims for a couple of years now ... its quite additcting smile But I'm not anywhere as additcted as my husband is with World of Warcraft ... the Sims THANK GOD has a pause button .. so you can still go about your life as per normal!

I wonder if the Sims will ever go online ... that would be kinda interesting ...

I found this forum just last week when trying to figure out a glitch that happened ... I was so happy that someone helped me out in minutes!

Anyways .. looking forward to chatting with you guys!

Hi Tracy!

Welcome to the Hullabaloo! Grin

Electronic Arts did have a Sims Online interactive game based on The Sims 1. I haven't heard beans about it in a long time so now I'm wondering if it's still there. I never played it myself.

It would be interesting, though! They'd have to compete with a couple of well-established multiplayer on-line words. Second Life is one of them, but I can't remember the name of the other one at the moment.

We even tried an interactive 3D world of our own. Grandma had it on Artistic Habitats. We didn't use it much, though, because it ran pretty slow. I'd say the lesson we learned from that experience is that the net needs to get a little faster before we can really do a serious 3D multiplayer word, but it's getting there!
