The lights are much brighter there
3/4: Denoument
In Suzette's front yard the next morning:
Two of Suzette's admirers.
Good thing flower-deliverers don't really notice each other, eh?
Later, Suzette called Chris and invited her over.
With the obvious results.
Slowly but surely heading for that Woohoo 20 LTW. Chemistry sure speeds up the process!
Thinking of her new friend.
On the way to work; exorcist hours are tough.
(And just to remind ourselves that Suzette isn't a strict gynophile...
Buttering up the Professor.
Not one of the ones she knew in college; Professor N here tagged along with some other visitor once.
I never did post the story about that time Suzette tried to keep one of her old college professors around all day, did I? I should; it was kind of fun.)

4/4: Addendum with Diva and Big
While Suzette was exploring the park, I noticed two striking-looking folks in the throng.
And they seemed quite taken with each other.
That's The Diva swooning over Mr. Big, isn't it? And Georgia Danvers chatting with him.
More floaty hearts.
They were chatting, admiring each other, and even exchanging friendly hugs. Are Big and the Diva supposed to come pre-loaded liking each other, or was this just an amusing bit of luck?
After her date with Chris, Suzette introduced herself to both of them.
Chatting up Mr. Big.
While The Diva discusses the stars with someone who looks vaguely like, but isn't, Damion Cormier.
She and Mr. Big didn't really connect.
The Diva, on the other hand...
Well, she likes swimsuits; but there might be some future possibilities there. If someone moves The Diva in, does the game roll up another one?
So anyway that was interesting! I still haven't noticed any vampires, or the dreaded Crumplebottom, and amazingly no jealousy incidents occurred. When Gina called and invited Suzette downtown a couple of days later, on the other hand -- but that's another story. *8)

Eeek, a scary vampire!
The Grand Vampire of Neighborhood One's Downtown has been spotted!
His frightening ominous name is: Count Goopy Young!!!
And he's interested in a college education.
Note little Violet Hanby sitting on the sidewalk. Lucy invited Dawson on an outing, and the outing group included not only Lucy and Damion, but their toddler daughter also. Violet didn't have a very good time; there's not alot for a toddler to do at the 125 Cafe. Are toddlers supposed to show up on downtown outings?
And here I thought Goopy Gilscarbo's first name was unique. *8)

Erm... no... within my experience, toddlers never go downtown.

I guess Violet's unique, then. *8) Maybe it was because both of her parents were (randomly?) chosen for the outing?
(When the downtown lot first loaded she was sitting in the street by herself. Then the taxi with everyone else in it pulled up and honked, and she got out of the way just as the usual downtownie hordes started showing up from offstage. She spent the entire time that I ran the lot basically sitting on the sidewalk complaining that she couldn't get up the steps (I think). Very silly. Although not as silly as Count Goopy Young!)

The name generator really could use some work. This morning I ran across a cow mascot named Lucy Hanby!
I changed her name to "Lynn."

I think there's a "better name" hack from MATY, but I don't have it installed.

I don't have a problem with changing names, though I wish there were a good way to change last names while the game is running. I haven't found a way to do that.
Hey, regarding Gina, I gotta say it: "Nice pants!"

I think the better name list is from MTS2, by Jordi. It's nice not to have the same names over and over again. If you deleteallcharacters before you start the neighborhood you don't have any goopys or kennedy coxes etc.
and I've seen the toddler glitch before : http://s15.invisionfree.com/A_Cuppa_Joe/index.php?showtopic=225

Aw darn. That's one of those boards that you can snoop unless you create an account. I think I need stronger bait to be motivated to create an account, mostly because I don't know the folks who run the board.

And as a followup I'm pleased to report that the Grand Vampiress's name is Contessa Edith GilsCarbo.
Delightfully symmetrical... *8)
Once we find Edith Young, anyway.

It's basically a bunch of people from MATY but we are actually all nice to each other It's a heavily personal board, we all know each other pretty well, which is probably why Val (Brynne from MATY) keeps it so private. She generally doesn't approve a membership unless she knows who you are right off. I didn't know you couldn't snoop the board without logging in though.
