The Townie Project
Part 21: Remington is fed up
As we saw earlier, former pizza man Remington London has escaped some of the turmoil of having three Romance sims in one house by finding outside interests.
Remington and Ivy out for a spin.
Just pulling into The Place, actually; that's the Danverses' down the hill, and Ransom Zoom behind them on the sidewalk. Being able to see multiple lots at once is great.
But with Melissa (who would be jealous) and Arcadia (who he despises) both around most of the time, Casa Townie offers little chance to really get comfortable with Ivy. So Remington makes a Big Decision.
Neighborhood One Magical Building Faeries dot com.
The Project's first dropout.
"Yeah, like you'll really miss me, y'ol' floozy."
Actually Arcadia is still pretty fond of Remington, much as he can't stand her.

The Townie Project
Part 23: A joyful hello
On the trip to the bus stop, the night turned symbolically into day.
"Yes, freedom!"
Actually he's saying "Yes, a telephone pole!", but that doesn't make quite as much narrative sense.
Remington called Ivy, and when she walked over he popped the question.
"Yes, I would love to shack up with you, darling."
Welcome Ivy, here's your plumb bob. (Ivy is a knowledge sim with like 6,000 or something Simoleons. Could be worse.)
The Magical Building Faeries quickly put together a cozy little house for them.
With space reserved for a driveway and garage off to the left.
I really like building houses, although I don't think I'm very good at it.
Will Remington and Ivy get along? Will he be able to control his Romance impulses? Will they produce children and grandchildren and interesting stories? Will the Townie Project enlist someone new to replace Remington? Who knows!
And although I've moved in yet another townie, the game still doesn't seem to be generating new ones; very odd! At least my creating a Downtown has resulted in a bunch of new Downtownies to play with; so we won't get bored...

I believe it regenerates Townies after you have "used up" most of the original ones - 23 of them I think.
But you can use Boolprop to make some new ones if you feel you need more. It still uses the templates so some of them look... gruummph. OFB adds more still, if you get that.

The Townie Project
Part 26: Dawn goes downtown
Impatient to get to know some other teens and begin her life of romance, Dawn took the Casa car downtown.
"Gak, minivans are not cool."
Nice that teenage Sims know how to drive instinctually.
At the boutique.
I forget exactly why I had her go there.
"For sure I like what I see!"
Dawn's first nibble. Does this mean I've made yet another gynophile Romance Sim? Time will tell.
At the store, Dawn ran into her older sister Gina.
"Hey, stranger!"
This may have been their first meeting. I really have to get Gina (and Eleanor) to know Rose and Dawn better.
And various neighbors.
Hanging out
Let's see; clockwise from 11 o'clock, thta's Dawn Raptor, Jan and Jen Danvers (another pair of twins), that elegant young lady that was admiring Dawn, and the mail boy.
She had a good time, but nothing satisfyingly Romantic came of it. This love game, she thought, is harder than it looks.
