Come on! What is the biggest difference between Sims 1 and Sims 2 and having babies?
I think I may not have enough money for the game to allow it. (I am not cheating this time.......it runs too slow when I do, anyway)
I certainly have kissed enough. Sheesh!
So, has anyone found the secret yet?

Where are all you guys out there with hints?

Thanks, my Sim....who I call Cheyenne Wyoming really wants a baby.

Buy yourself a double bed, any of them will do. Have both sims RELAX on the bed. With one of the sims active, move your cursor over the other until you see a small person sign, now you will get a menu that gives all the bed options including TRY FOR BABY. Seems elder female sims are infertile BUT old Morty Goth has had two more kids with second wife Dina. Guess the elder male still are fertile but it make take 2 tries.

I find if you cuddle before trying for a baby, you seem tp have better luck with pregnancy.. it's like the equivalent of the kissing after woohooing in the sims 1 smile

I've found that if while "relaxing" on the bed, you have them "make out" a few times and then "try for a baby" it works. =)

After you "try for a baby" (and the WooHoo is over) while they're going to sleep you'll hear a little "tinkling melody" if the female has conceived. wink

Then after, be on the lookout for morning sickness and great hunger, energy depletion of the female. It seems that during the "morning sickness" time if you make sure the pregnant woman eats regularly she'll have less morning sickness. Oh! Also you'll probably want a maid hired if you don't have one already, because the toilet gets NASTY after someone vomits . . . = \ ick! hehe
